The Emotional Management Programme is designed to support schools in their mental health mission, offering a whole-school approach to help pupils develop essential self-regulation skills, improve their well-being, and build confidence.
This programme is available in two formats: a comprehensive four-week course or a condensed two-week mini programme. Both providing students with practical tools they can use immediately to reduce anxiety and better understand and manage their emotions. At the end of the programme, a teacher training session is provided to embed the learning within the school.
In a recent case study, pupils who completed the programme reported a 68% DROP IN ANXIETY.
The Emotional Management Programme teaches:
1. Mindset Skills: Developing a positive and resilient mindset is at the core of the programme.
2. Breathwork and Relaxation Techniques: By practicing breathwork and other relaxation exercises, pupils learn how to calm themselves in stressful moments.
3. Positive Psychology: Through practical exercises, pupils are encouraged to identify their strengths, build self-esteem, and appreciate the positive aspects of themselves.
4. Self-Regulation Skills: The programme gives pupils the tools they need to manage their emotions, actions, and responses in a healthy way.
A WHOLE-SCHOOL APPROACH:
One of the most powerful aspects of the Emotional Management Programme is its whole-school approach (at Primary, a year-group focus at Secondary). All pupils participate, creating a shared foundation of understanding and skills.
