In today's world, pupils face unprecedented levels of stress and emotional pressure. With anxiety levels rising among young people, schools are looking for ways to help students manage these feelings, build resilience, and thrive. The Emotional Management Programme is designed to support schools in this mission, offering a whole-school approach to help pupils develop essential self-regulation skills, improve their well-being, and build confidence.
This programme is available in two formats: a comprehensive four-week course or a condensed two-week mini programme. Both options provide students with practical tools they can use immediately to reduce anxiety and better understand and manage their emotions. At the end of the programme, a teacher training session is provided to embed the learning within the school, ensuring that these valuable skills continue to benefit students long after the course concludes.
Why the Emotional Management Programme?
For many young people, emotions like anxiety, anger, or sadness can feel overwhelming, and without support, these feelings can lead to more significant mental health challenges over time. Often, young people are told they'll "grow out of it" or that "it's just a phase." But research and experience show that, without intervention, many children continue to struggle. With the right skills and support, however, they can learn to manage their emotions, face challenges with confidence, and build a strong foundation for their future.
The Emotional Management Programme addresses these needs directly. In a recent case study, pupils who completed the programme reported a 68% DROP IN ANXIETY. This significant improvement shows just how effective these tools can be in helping young people create positive change in their lives.
BENEFITS:
The Emotional Management Programme teaches pupils a variety of skills to help them manage their mental and emotional health:
1. Mindset Skills: Developing a positive and resilient mindset is at the core of the programme. Pupils learn to reframe negative thoughts and view challenges as opportunities for growth, building the confidence to tackle whatever comes their way.
2. Breathwork and Relaxation Techniques: By practicing breathwork and other relaxation exercises, pupils learn how to calm themselves in stressful moments. These techniques help to reduce physical symptoms of anxiety, making it easier for pupils to focus and feel in control.
3. Positive Psychology: Through practical exercises, pupils are encouraged to identify their strengths, build self-esteem, and appreciate the positive aspects of themselves. This focus on positivity enhances overall happiness and well-being.
4. Self-Regulation Skills: The programme gives pupils the tools they need to manage their emotions, actions, and responses in a healthy way. By learning to regulate themselves, pupils become more resilient and capable, which benefits their academic performance, social interactions, and personal growth.
A WHOLE-SCHOOL APPROACH:
One of the most powerful aspects of the Emotional Management Programme is its whole-school approach (at Primary, a year-group focus at Secondary). All pupils participate, creating a shared foundation of understanding and skills that can be reinforced across the school environment. The programme concludes with a Teacher Training Session, which equips staff with the knowledge and tools to support pupils' ongoing emotional development. With teachers on board, these self-regulation skills can become an integral part of the school culture, making a lasting impact on pupils.
LASTING IMPACT:
The success of the Emotional Management Programme is not just measured in numbers, though the 68% drop in anxiety is remarkable. The real success is in the day-to-day lives of the pupils who feel calmer, more confident, and better equipped to face life's challenges. By giving pupils the tools they need to self-regulate, schools can create an environment where learning and growth are supported by emotional well-being.

Is your child or teen feeling overwhelmed, upset, or a bit blue, and everyone around you is saying it's just a developmental phase or hormones?
I hear this so often from parents who are searching for answers.
I’m Katie, and I'd like to share with you something that could make a real difference in your child's life. If your child is struggling with anxiety, sadness, or bursts of anger -there is a way to help them feel calmer, more balanced, and more in control.
So much anguish and poor mental health in adulthood could have been prevented if support had been available when kids first started feeling anxious, angry, or sad in childhood/adolescence.
Many of these issues start in childhood, but they don't just fade away on their own. Despite what people might say—"It's just a phase," or "They'll grow out of it"—the truth is, without the right support, these feelings can persist and even intensify over time.
The good news? There's a solution that can help your child find peace and resilience. Let me introduce you to my Wellbeing Sessions for Kids and Teens – aimed to arm your child with the tools they need to self-regulate and flourish now and into the future:
- 3 Hour-Long Sessions (online or in-person, location dependent): These session teach your child/teen essential mental health skills -helping to prevent challenges from piling up and setting them on the path to a happier, more balanced life.
- A powerful mix of hypnotherapy and positive psychology: The sessions are designed to be interactive and enjoyable, so your child will actually want to dive in and explore the issues we’re addressing.
-Audios and techniques: Sessions includes tailored content to your child’s needs with audios and techniques to try in between sessions.
-Self-Regulation: Through our sessions, your child/teen will learn how to manage their emotions, actions, and behaviours for themselves in the first instance, which means more peace and harmony for the entire family.
- Building Self Esteem: Your child will discover that they are just as capable and worthy as their peers, helping them to feel proud of who they are, and all of the wonderful qualities and strengths they have - even in the face of challenges or new situations.
